The Frozen Ropes finished ninth out of 76 teams in the USSSA 12B World Series July 24-28 at Adair Park in Independence, the highest finish of any Kansas City area team. The Frozen Ropes also took fourth out of 26 teams in the Missouri USSSA North State Tournament at Adair in July. The team also finished first in seven other tournaments this year and finished fourth out of 10 teams playing up in a 14U doubleheader league at Adair Park this summer. The Frozen Ropes finished 74-22 overall in 2007, finishing fifth out of 1,760 teams in the nation based on USSSA final point standings. They also finished first out of 360 teams in USSSA Region 5, including the states of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Colorado, and were first out of 160 teams in the state of Missouri. The team outscored its opponents 418-153 for the year.
