The Elmwood Cemetery Picnic on June 6th served to raise awareness about this beautiful and often overlooked piece of Kansas City History. The Cemetery is the final resting place for over 2,000 veterans including 800 from the Civil War and many civic and business leaders who have made Kansas City what it is today.
